Sami Slimani Hearts: GQ Style - Frühjahr/Sommer

Heute ist endlich die neue Ausgabe der GQ Style für die kommende Frühjahr-/Sommersaison in den Handel gekommen und ich bin dementsprechend gleich morgens zum Bahnhof gefahren um sie mir zu holen. 

Das Magazin erscheint 2x im Jahr und ist demnach auf meiner "Slimani-Hearts" vertreten, eine neue Serie auf meinem Blog, um euch die Dinge, Trends, Fashion-Finds und alles aus meiner Perspektive in einigen kurzen Absätzen zu zeigen.

Wie ihr sicherlich wisst, lass ich mich gerne von Mode-Magazinen inspirieren, jedoch folge ich nicht jedem Trend und suche immer Wege meinen eigenen Trend zu erschaffen. Für mich sehr interessant ist auf alle Fälle das Interview mit Hollywood Schauspieler Ethan Hawke (Cover) und seine Ansichten zum Thema Mode - "Ich schau mir Modemagazine an, aber ich will auch kein Pfau an" - eine Ansicht die ich auch teile, da ich lieber für meinen eigenen Stil bekannt sein will um hoffentlich eines Tages selbst in einem solchen Magazin zu stehen.

Ebenfalls sehr interessant ist für mich ist auch die Modestrecke von Hedi Slimanes erster Herrenkollektion für Saint Laurent Paris. Erkennt ihr die Ähnlichkeit des Nachnamens :)?

Today is the day the new GQ Style comes out, so my day started with me picking the issue up to get inspired for the upcoming spring/summer season.

The magazine comes out twice a year and therefore it's on my "Slimani-Hearts" list, a new blog series to show you all things, trends, fashion finds and more from my own perspective.

As you all know, I love to get inspired by fashion magazines, but I don't really jump on the band-wagon and follow every trend. I usually try to find my own twist on trends to create my own/new trends for myself. What caught my attention was the Cover and Interview with Ethan Hawke and the way he sees fashion, as I'm always interested in how people in hollywood see fashion.

I want to be known for my own sense of style to be featured in magazines like that one day, but enough of talking about my dreams, haha.

Also really interesting is the new menswear collection Hedi Slimane created for Saint Laurent Paris. Do you see any similarities to my last name :)?

Classy Splash of Red in Paris

Erst einmal muss ich ein großes Dankeschön an meine Leser aussprechen für alle Glückwünsche zum Artikel gestern und alle neuen Leser - Herzlich Willkommen zu meinem/eurem ersten Look den ihr heute auf meinem Blog seht.

 Ihr müsst wissen, dass ich ein absoluter Fan von klassischen Looks und Lederjacken bin - die Kombination mit meiner Lieblingsfarbe Rot des Vintage Hemd von Urban Outfitters und der schwarzen Lederjacke mit Rosegold Akzenten, erschafft einen zeitlosen Look, welcher immer und von jedem getragen werden kann. Perfekt für ein Date, Lunch mit Freunden oder generell im Alltag, wie ich es zum Lunch getragen habe.

You have to know that I'm a huge fan of classic looks and leather jackets - combining my favorite color red in this vintage button up by Urban Outtfiters with a black leather jacket with rose gold accents create and effortless and timeless look, that everyone can wear. This look is perfect for a date, a lunch out with friends or in general for all days.

Wir haben es geschafft. Ich bin in der aktuellen Ausgabe des GQ Magazins 03/13 - ich bin so happy, dass mein Fashion Blog zu den der größten Männerblogs in Deutschland gehört.

So etwas zu lesen, macht mich mehr als glücklich, stolz und ach ich kann es kaum in Worte fassen. Ich danke euch. Ich bin froh eure Unterstützung zu haben und ebenfalls meinem Ziel somit näher gekommen zu sein.

We made it. I'm in the latest (03/13) issue of the GQ Magazine in Germany  - i'm so happy that my fashion blog is one of the biggest male fashion blogs in Germany, although I'm the only one in that list that is actually presenting his own sense of fashion on myself.

Reading that article truly made me happy, proud and ahh, I just can't describe it in words. I'm thankful for my blog readers. I'm so lucky to have your support and to be one step nearer to my goals in life.

Black Class Look in Paris

Ein Outfit welches teuer und edel aussieht und dennoch günstig zusammengestellt worden ist und definitiv für Komplimente auf offener Straße sorgen wird - zumindest ging es mir so, seitdem ich in Paris einige Outfits für die kommenden Tage geshootet habe. Mein neuer Zara Mantel erinnert mich sehr stark an die Designs von Armani und dessen Kombination aus Stoff und Leder ist in einem perfekten Gleichgewicht. Schwarze Skinny Jeans, schwarze Boots, ein leichtes Highlight unter meinem Skull Pullover und meine Louis Vuitton "Porte-Documents Voyage GM" vervollständigen diesen klassischen, edlen und erwachsenen Pariser City Look.

PS: Findet ihr nicht auch, dieser originale Louis Vuitton Store am Champs Elysée sieht wunderschön aus?Ich liebe es..haha.

This is one of my favorite outfits, not only because it looks really expensive but is really cheap as I got most of the stuff from the Sales at Zara, but also because I got so many compliments as I was shooting this look in Paris.

My new coat by zara really reminds me of the classic Armani designs with its leather sleeves and overall woven fabric. Paired with black skinny jeans, black high top boots, a little highlight from my white polkadot button up and my Louis Vuitton "Porte-Documents Voyage GM" complete this classic and grown up Parisian Look.

Btw..isn't that original Louis Vuitton Store at the Champs Elysée not beautiful?I love it..haha.

Louis Vuitton FW 2013 - Menswear

Heute wollte ich mit euch über die Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2013 Menswear Collection reden, welche vor einigen Tagen vorgestellt worden ist. Ein Weg sowohl einen Blick auf die Runways zu erhalten und auch zu sehen, in welche Richtung die Trends diesen Herbst/Winter 2013 gehen werden. 

Abgesehen davon, dass ich von Kim Jones neuer Kollektion fasziniert bin, wäre ich so gerne Live vor Ort gewesen um diese großartige Show zu sehen, welche ich jedoch diesmal nur via Live Stream auf  LouisVuitton.com gesehen habe.

Die Reise zu den Himalayas und die Entdeckungen von Kim Jones prägen diese Kollektion. Sie verbindet die Dinge, die er auf die Reise mitgenommen und die Dinge die er wieder mitgebracht hat, sowohl physisch als auch mental. 

Die Himalayas sind der wohl einzige Ort an welchen Tiger und Schneeleoparden aufeinandertreffen, weshalb der Schneeleopard ein führendes Motiv in dieser Kollektion ist, aber auch die Animal Prints. 

Sowohl das Layering, als auch die großen Taschen und die leicht sitzenden Beanies, welche soviel Detail und Charakter enthält, haben es mir angetan und mir bleibt nichts als staunen.

Today I wanted to talk with you about the Louis Vuitton FW 2013 Menswear Collection that was presented a few days ago. This way I can show you which ways trends are going this upcoming fall/winter 2013, but also you will be able to take a look at the runways.

Besides that I'm super fascinated by Kim Jones newest collection, i would have loved to be sitting at the show, instead of watching it on a live stream on LouisVuitton.com.

His adventures to the himalayas and his experiences while traveling inspired this whole collection. It combines all the things that you take with you on a journey, but also bring back from your travels, which is why the snow leopard is a leading detail in this collection, but also all the animal prints.

From the layering to those big bags and the floppy put on beanies with so much character and detailing I can't help but sit here and be all impressed with my eyes wide open.

Berlin Here's the long awaited Look with all the Details to my outfit that you've probably seen a lot on my instagram. There is not much to say about this outfit, except that it combined my all time favorite coat by Burberry which is the key piece to this outfit along with the gold plated collar. Add a pair of black skinnys, leather boots and the look is complete.

Event: Bruno Banani in Berlin

Berlin hat mich wieder und ich komme mir langsam so vor, als würde ich hier leben. Heute wurde ich von Bruno Banani für ein interessantes Event eingeladen zur Lancierung ihres neuen Damendufts "Dangerous Woman" - ich bin gespannt wie dieser riechen wird und wie das Event abläuft.

Da ihr solche Einblicke in meine Hotelzimmer liebt, habe ich natürlich wieder einige Fotos geschossen. Ich befinde mich im wirklich schönen Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. Ich werde noch im Laufe des Tages meinen "Burberry Look" veröffentlichen - also schaut heute ab und zu mal rein. Ich werde während des Events einen weiteren Look shooten. Bleibt gespannt.

Berlin I'm back again and I feel like I'm living here as I just came back from fashion week last week. Today I was invited for the launch of Bruno Banani's upcoming fragrance "Dangerous Woman" and I'm super excited to see how the event and fragrance is going to be, as I might recommend it for you. 

As you all love my hotel room tour pictures I decided to take some for you. I'm staying at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. Throughout the day I'm also going to post my long awaited "Burberry Look" - so stay tuned on my blog and check back all day everyday. I'm also going to shoot another look while the event is going. H&M Summer 2013 - Menswear Lookbook

 H&M hat soeben ihr neues Sommer 2013 Lookbook veröffentlicht und ich wollte euch im heutigen Post einen Einblick in die Richtung geben, welche H&M diesen Sommer gehen wird.

Kann ich sagen, dass ich es kaum erwarten kann einige der Teile sofort nach erscheinen zu kaufen? Ich bin ein großer Mint-Farben Fan und demnach sprechen mich die Looks sehr an. 

H&M verfolgt mit der Sommer Kollektion eine sehr erwachsene und gleichzeitig lockere Richtung mit gewählten Mint/Navy Farben, welche jedem Look eine gewisse frische und Leichtigkeit verleihen. Es erinnert mich sehr an den damaligen trendigen Schuljungen-Look der 20er Jahre.

H&M has just released their new Summer 2013 Lookbook and i wanted to give you an inside look on what you can expect this summer by H&M.

Can I just say, that I can' wait to buy most of the pieces as soon as they will come out?

I'm a huge mint-colors fan so i'm really feeling the looks.

H&M new Summer Collection seems really mature but light weight at the same time with selected colors like mint and navy that give every look a really fresh and trendy look.

It really reminds me of the old school boy look from the 1920s.
